In class write 2 2+1 chunk paragraph on Puritan authors. Vocab quiz tomorrow.
Today was spent editing and individually discussing your 2 +1 chunk as well as finding quotes for the 2 2+1 chunk paragraph you will write in class on Monday.
Vocab quiz is now Tuesday. Worked on writing and editing 2 + 1 chunks. Students wrote a 2 + 1 chunk on personal school weaknesses. Students also labeled paragraphs for TS, CDs, CMs, and CS and rated them based on the synthesis scale.

Discussed "Of Plymouth Plantation" Chose two of the four pieces of literature that we have read and wrote down quotes for an in-class essay (2-3 chunk paragraph with a topic sentence and concluding sentence) on Thursday. Come with an outline and quotes ready...I will check what you have before you start your paragraph. All the pieces of literature are in the literature books. Tomorrow....5th period go to auditorium for handbook presentation. Today: SAT Vocabulary I...definitions and sentences. VOCAB QUIZ Monday the 26th.
Read in Literature Book: William Bradford, page 26 AND Pages 29-33...take notes as you read. When you have finished write about the connection to Puritanism AND your commentary. All is due at the beginning of class tomorrow. Today in class we read "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" took notes, wrote about its connection to Puritanism and individual commentary on this sermon. We discussed Jonathan Edwards.
Spent time finishing couplet and questions pertaining to" Verses Upon the Burning of Our House." Due Tomorrow if you did not turn them in today.
Chose own groups and read, "Still Puritan After All These Years." Answered corresponding questions in groups and discussed in whole class. Turned in at the end of the period. FB author presentations
